Pertama kali unboxing synology ternyata passwordnya harus di reset dulu :D kemungkinan abis di setting sama vendor nya kali gak tau gw tapi tiba2 gw gak bisa login dengan defaut password nya. nah karna itu gw mau nulis ini buat catetan. udah jelas banget catetannya jadi gw gak perlu ngoceh banyak lagi.
2. Reset the administrator password and network settings
This section will guide you through the necessary steps to reset the administrator password and network settings. After resetting your Synology NAS, your system configuration will result in:
- To restore admin account to default value.
- To reset the UI management port to 5000/5001.
- To reset IP, DNS, gateway, and other net interfaces to DHCP.
- To disable PPPoE.
- To disable auto block.
- To disable firewall rules.
- To unmount encrypted folders and disable Mount automatically on startup.
- To remove high-availability cluster.
Note: The RESET performs various functions on different versions of DSM. This FAQ explains in further detail. Before proceeding to reset your Synology NAS to factory default settings, you may also want to back up your current configuration. For detailed instructions, please see this tutorial.
To reset the administrator password and network settings:
- Locate the RESET button which is located on the back panel of your Synology NAS.
- Using a paper clip, gently press and hold down the RESET button for about 4 seconds until your Synology NAS emits a beep sound. Release immediately.
- Launch Synology Assistant and double-click your Synology NAS to login. At the login page use “admin” as the user name and leave the password field blank. You can now reconfigure the administrator password and other network settings.
Note: If you have difficulty locating the RESET button, please refer to the Quick Installation Guide for your model here.
Warning: Pressing the RESET button continuously will cause the operating system to reinstall.
Note: This procedure is only applicable when DSM is installed. If DSM is not installed, nothing will happen; however, the system will still beep. See the next section for how to reinstall DSM.

tapi ada dua metode untuk reset ada yang menghapus konfigurasi saja ada juga yang menghapus keseluruhan data. check dokumentasinya disini :
