Automating Registration of ZTE GPON OLT Using Python3

Normally, you must type the commands one by one to register the onu. You must input some parameters, such as vlan, serial number, description, and many others, for one customer. This is very nasty because you can make a human error when typing the command.

Here I want to try to share with you guys how to automate ZTE GPON OLT C230 using Python to complete repetitive tasks. Instead of you typing every task, you can finish this task using some automation script.

The screenshot above shows you how my program runs in my CLI. I am using Ubuntu and Python 3 to run the program. This program requests parameters, accommodates parameters, and pushes all necessary configuration with the parameters entered by the user.

By the way, this program can also be run using a web application with a Python base, like Django. I am still trying to develop this program using Django.
